Self-Administered COVID-19 Testing Pilot Program
Starting Nov. 17th

Dear Graduate & Professional Students,

Starting tomorrow, November 17, 2020, the Return to Learn Program will pilot self-administered asymptomatic COVID-19 testing for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. This pilot program is available to all students, including those living in HDH Graduate & Family Housing and off-campus students. Students will be able to pick-up and drop-off a testing kit between the hours of 9:00 a.m.and 4:00 p.m., seven days a week at the following locations.

Self-administered testing allows students to test at a time and location of their choosing. Kits include instructions and the supplies needed for testing. Kits are to be returned within 72 hours of pick-up in the drop-off bins at each location.

* ALL students must register for MyStudentChart in order to receive all COVID-19 testing instructions and result notifications.

INSTRUCTIONS: To register for MyStudentChart, follow the three easy steps below:

  • Download the MyChart app on your mobile device. The free app is available in the Apple App Store for iPhone or the Google Play Store for Android phones.
  • Open MyChart app. Select Organization: UC San Diego Student Health & Well-Being
  • Login using your UC San Diego AD login/password

As a reminder, students living in university-owned housing are required to participate in daily symptom and exposure screening and in free regular testing. More information about screening and testing can be found on the Return to Learn website.
