Job Description:

UC San Diego Health Academic Administration (Infrastructure Team)
Academic Administration is responsible for the lifecycle of personnel actions for faculty, physicians, academics, and scholars for UC San Diego Health.

The Infrastructure Team provides technology and process support to Academic Administration. We develop/deliver high quality and reliable systems to help staff continuously streamline and improve their work. We use technology solutions to enhance user experience and create business value for our clients. 

Position Information
This position will help with data entry, quality assurance, audits, and data reports. The ideal candidate is a quick learner and a creative thinker with an interest in writing scripts to help automate work.

• Candidate is expected to think creatively to explore, identify, and leverage new technology and tools. 
• Candidate is expected to have an ability to work effectively both independently and in a supportive, and diverse team environment.
 
 Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
  • Understanding of complex processes, and clear articulation of ideas to technical/non-technical groups. 
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality. 
  • Active learner, openness to working with new software/tools, using unfamiliar technologies. 
  • Confident in using web applications, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
 
  • Must pay UCSD Student Services fees each quarter working.
  • Must complete and clear a background check.
 
 
Hours per week: 20 hrs.
 
Job Location: 6165 Greenwich Drive - Onsite and Remote
