Hey! We're Microtomes, an undergraduate academic journal club that introduces students to cutting edge topics in Biology through discussions of recent publications.
This Wednesday 10/14 at 7 PM, we will be having an info session about Grantathon! In teams of 3-5 students, undergraduates from any major will compete in a “Hackathon-style” event to write an NSF grant style research proposal and present their work to a panel of UCSD faculty and researchers.
First place: $1000
Second: $500
Third: $200
Fourth: $100
Following this, Vice President Wyatt will also be doing a short presentation on the propositions on California's ballot this election year.
